European Master in Vision and Robotics Scholarships Up to 24 European Master in Vision and Robotics Scholarships of 42, 000 euros (covering the 2 years of studies) are available. Outstanding achievement in the applicant's first degree which must have equivalent to UK First Class in either electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mathematics, robotics, physics and industrial engineering.
2. Erasmus Mundus MSc in Photonics Scholarship The Erasmus Mundus MSc programme in Photonics is a 2-year (120 ECTS credits) program, with the students spending one year in one European country and the other year in another country. The minimum graduate admission requirements are: A bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution.
3. Hauser Global Scholars LLM Scholarships The Hauser Global Scholars Program offers financial support to a limited number of outstanding foreign students for one year of study at New York University School of Law enrolled in the course leading to the LL.M. degree. Each Hauser Global Scholar receives full tuition and reasonable living expenses, including rent and the cost of textbooks and other study materials.
4. Journalism Scholarships - Rhodes University, South Africa Two scholarships are available to Southern African journalism students interested in studying at one of the region’s top journalism schools. Ideal candidates have an interest in developing their knowledge of the media industry and have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
5. Commerce and Economics graduates Scholarships Commerce or economics graduates who wish to explore a career in journalism are invited to apply for scholarships for one year of study at the School of Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. The scholarships are aimed to improve the quality of economic and business journalism in Africa through high-quality postgraduate teaching and training.
6. Economics Management of Network Industries Scholarships A number of Economics Management of Network Industries Scholarships, funded by the European Commission, are available for highly qualified third-country graduate students and scholars. For each student the scholarship amounts to 21,000 Euro per academic year.
7. Master in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion Scholarships The Master in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion Scholarships of 21000 Euros / Year are granted to 25 selected third-country students (non-european) each year. Candidates should own a BSc (Bachelor in Sciences) preferably in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Materials Science or Electrochemistry.
8. European Master in Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering Physics Scholarships A number of European Master in Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering Physics Scholarships are available to non EU students. The Erasmus Mundus scholarship consist of twenty monthly instalments of 1600 euro and a yearly fee of 5000 euro to cover expenses, like subscription fees, insurances and travel.
9. Bat Conservation International Scholarships Each year, Bat Conservation International Scholarships support graduate students in conducting conservation-relevant research. Students enrolled in any college or university worldwide are eligible to apply.
10. Catherine B Reynolds Foundation Fellowship International candidates are accepted for the Catherine B Reynolds Foundation Fellowship. The scholarship is granted for a masters level studies. Applicants who have a demonstrated interest in social entrepeneurship are encouraged to apply.
11. Scholarships for Master in Technology The University of Lugano, Switzerland, grants Scholarships for Master in Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage. The scholarship amount is CHF 5,000 awarded on the basis of academic merit, regardless of scholar’s country of origin.
12. McAfee School of Theology International Tuition Grants Each year, the McAfee School of Theology will offer two tuition grants to international students who are coming to McAfee on an F-1 visa. International students who receive a grant must also show evidence of $12,000 in annual living expenses.
13. Foreign Citizen Scholarships for Doctoral Studies - Slovenia The Scientific and Educational Foundation of the Republic of Slovenia, Public Fund, offers grants for tuition and accomodation costs of foreign citizens for their doctorate studies at Slovene higher education institutions. Successful applicants shall be provided living expenses, in the amount of €625 monthly for living and study costs for the period of 12 months (together annually €7,500).
14. Civil Society Practitioners Programme The Oxford Internet Institute (OII) at the University of Oxford invites applications from the Global South to fill two places in its Civil Society Practitioners Programme. The successful person shall receive a subsistence allowance of (US$7,500) to cover research expenses and living costs during their stay in Oxford and a travel grant of up to (US$2,000) for travel to and from the United Kingdom (UK).
15. Rotary Peace and Conflicts Scholarships Scholarships for Rotary Peace and Conflicts Study Program are provided by Rotary International to citizens of countries with Rotary Club presence. Support includes partial or full costs for academic fees, meals, accommodation, return air travel, insurance, course materials and fieldwork expenses.
16. MSc by Research at Cranfield University - UK Cranfield University has a vacancy for a high calibre student to undertake an MSc by Research in the area of Environmental Performance of Alternative Pig Production Systems: a Life Cycle Analysis Approach. Suitable applicants will have a First or Upper Second Class UK Honours degree, or equivalent, in agriculture, agricultural economics, operational research or related discipline.
17.Media management Scholarships - Southern African Women The Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership at Rhodes University's School of Journalism and Media Studies is offering three scholarships to women for its postgraduate diploma in media management in 2008. The one-year course provides skills and knowledge to people working in the media, and is designed to fast-track their careers into management.
18. American Philosophical Society Franklin Research Grants Program, Philadelphia, USA Applicants are expected to have a doctorate or to have published work of doctoral character and quality. Foreign nationals must use their Franklin awards for research in the United States.
19. NanoArt International Online Competition - 2007 This worldwide competition NanoArt 2007 is open to all artists 18 years and older. The artists or/and scientists are encouraged to participate with their own images as long as these visualize micro or nanostructures.
20. PhD Scholarships in Computer Science, IT University of Copenhagen - Denmark The IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) invites applications for a number of PhD scholarships starting in the beginning of 2008 in any of the research groups represented at ITU. A successful applicant will be an excellent student capable of conducting research under supervision by one of ITU’s faculty members and at the highest international level.
21. University of Canterbury Doctoral and Masters Scholarships - New Zealand Scholarships are offered twice a year for study towards a PhD degree or for the thesis year of a Masters degree. This covers the domestic tuition fee plus a living allowance of NZ$25,000 per annum, paid monthly, and an economy class airfare at the start and end of the tenure.
22. Fully funded Phd Studentship in Biological Silicon Chemistry - UK Applications are invited for two PhD studentships available for three years from November 2007 in the Department of Chemistry, The Open University. This is suitable for any student with a good chemistry (or related) degree who has an interest in understanding the chemistry behind how biological systems make and break silicon-oxygen bonds and how this knowledge can be used to develop new materials using environmentally friendly processes.
23. PhD positions in the Field of Public International Law, The Universiteit van Amsterdam Applications are invited for PhD positions in the Field of Public International Law at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Foreign candidates will be expected to acquire working knowledge of the Dutch language within a period of two years.
24. PhD studentship in Microfluidic Devices, University of Southampton - UK This studentships is available to jointly work in School of Engineering Sciences (SES) and School of Electronics & Computer Sciences (ECS). It fully covers University tuition fees and provides a tax-free bursary of £12600 per year, rising annually in line with the UK Government recommended rate, for a 3-year duration.
25. PhD Scholarship in Applied Mathematics, Monash University - Austria Applications are invited for a PhD in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Monash University, Austria. Foreign nationals must apply also for a fee-paying scholarship (or independently pay the associated tuition fees).
26. Woods Oceanographic Institution Postdoc Fellowships - USA Applications are invited for Postdoctoral awards for research in oceanographic sciences or engineering and policy at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
