Responsibilities:
Maintains and manages projects databases in Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) and Projects Management System (PMS)

Scrutinizes budgets for new projects and projects revisions prior to their approval for arithmetic accuracy and consistency.

Competencies:

Good understanding of operational and administrative procedures related to programme administration; demonstrate ability to apply good judgment in the context of assignments given.

Qualifications:

Education:

Completion of Secondary School Education required. Supplemental training in Administration/Business Management or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Minimum of six years of administrative experience in projects, databases maintenance, management and updating information relating to projects management activities

Languages:

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Others:

Computer skills; high level of proficiency in use of accounting systems (e.g. IMIS, PMS), various MS office software packages and spreadsheets is required.
