African Women in Agricultural Research and Development Fellowships
The Gender and Diversity program invites applications for the first round of fellowships under the AWARD Program.
The fellowship will support African agricultural women scientists from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia with PhD degrees, including those in post-doctoral positions, and women scientists with MA/MSc/MPhil/BA/BSc degrees.
Disciplines: Crop sciences (including horticulture), soil sciences, animal and livestock sciences,plant and animal animal virology, agroforestry, agricultural economics, aquatic resources and fisheries, food sciences and nutrition, natural resource management and ecology, biodiversity conservation, entomology, agricultural extension education, molecular biology (applied to plant/animal breeding), and water and irrigation management.
Application Forms: The application forms have been divided into three categories:
Post-PhD/Post-doctoral to be completed and submitted by women scientists with a minimum qualification of PhD degree.
Post-MA/MSc/MPhil to be completed and submitted by women scientists with a minimum qualification of MA/MSc/MPhil degree.
Post-BA/BSc to be completed and submitted by women scientists with a minimum qualification of BA/BSc degree.
